Grand Central Terminal
Grand Central covers 48 acres (19 ha) and has 44 platforms, more than any other railroad station in the world. The distinctive architecture and interior design of Grand Central Terminal's station house have earned several landmark designations, including a National Historic Landmark.
New York Public Library
New York Public Library is the second largest public library in the United States. It is private. The historian David McCullough has described the New York Public Library as one of the five most important libraries in the United States; the others are the Library of Congress, the Boston Public Library, and the university libraries of Harvard and Yale.
